The Kremlin confirmed on Tuesday that Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev is scheduled to meet with members of the US delegation at the World Economic Forum in Davos to discuss the war in Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov informed reporters, “I can confirm that he does indeed have such plans with some representatives of the American delegation.” He did not specify which US officials would be in attendance.
Peskov added that the purpose of the meeting was to facilitate communication regarding the conflict, stating, “Kirill Dmitriev will pass on information to that side and back again concerning the peace process in Ukraine.”
