The pro-Palestinian Lebanese militant Georges Ibrahim Abdallah has left his prison in France, a source close to the case told AFP on Friday.

Abdallah, one of France’s longest-held inmates, was behind bars for more than 40 years for the killings of two diplomats. As part of the court-ordered release, he is due to be deported later on Friday.
