Erdogan Discusses Regional Crises with Pakistan’s PM, Reaffirms Support for Diplomacy

Turkey has intensified its diplomatic engagement on regional affairs as President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss key regional and international developments. In subsequent remarks, Erdogan stressed that lasting solutions must be driven by regional countries and reiterated Ankara’s commitment to diplomacy and de-escalation.

During talks in Istanbul, Erdogan and Sharif discussed the war in Gaza, the situations in Syria and Afghanistan, and the latest developments concerning relations between Iran and the United States.

The Turkish president reaffirmed Turkey’s support for all diplomatic initiatives aimed at reducing tensions and resolving conflicts while emphasizing that Ankara is closely monitoring any attempts to undermine the agreement.
