DAVOS, Switzerland – A Russian envoy, Kirill Dmitriev, stated on Tuesday that he engaged in “constructive” discussions regarding the war in Ukraine with American officials during the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Speaking to the press, Dmitriev described the meetings as positive. “The meetings are constructive, and more and more people are realising that Russia’s position is right,” he asserted.

The talks were reportedly held with Steve Witkoff, a special envoy for the administration of US President Donald Trump, and Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law.
