The Iraqi Meteorological Authority announced that temperatures across the country will noticeably decrease starting Friday, following a slight rise expected over the next two days.
According to the statement, Wednesday’s weather will be mostly clear with scattered clouds. Temperatures will remain stable in central and northern regions, while slightly increasing in the south, reaching up to 45°C in some provinces.
The authority added that Thursday will see sunny conditions with a slight rise in temperatures. However, by Friday, temperatures will drop as northwesterly winds cause dust storms in central and northern areas. The cooling trend will continue into Saturday, with clear to occasionally dusty weather expected nationwide.
