European Council President Antonio Costa announced Sunday that an extraordinary summit of EU leaders will be held “in the coming days.” The meeting aims to coordinate a unified European response to US President Donald Trump’s threat of imposing tariffs related to Greenland.
In a statement posted on social media, Costa said, “Given the significance of recent developments and in order to further coordinate, I have decided to convene an extraordinary meeting of the European Council in the coming days.”
