People gather by the rubble of a collapsed building near Ferdowsi square in Tehran on March 3, 2026. The United States and Israel started striking Iran on February 28, killing Iran's supreme leader and top military leaders, and prompting authorities to retaliate with strikes on Israel and across the Gulf.

Iran US tensions intensified after a series of warnings issued by senior Iranian officials following joint US Israeli attacks reported by Tehran. The focus keyword appears early to support SEO.
Iran accused Washington and Tel Aviv of targeting civilian sites including a school in southern Iran and Gandhi Hospital in Tehran. The United States and Israel have not confirmed responsibility for these strikes.

Iran warns the United States will “no longer be safe”

The Revolutionary Guards’ Quds Force stated that the United States should expect consequences for what Tehran described as ongoing aggression.
The Guards declared that Washington “will no longer be safe anywhere in the world” and accused the United States of fueling regional instability.
The statement aired on Iranian state TV on the third day of coordinated US Israeli attacks reported by Iran.

Context behind the escalation

Tehran has claimed that 168 people were killed in an attack on a school in southern Iran.
Iran says the strike on Gandhi Hospital in Tehran occurred the following day.
No confirmation has been issued by the United States or Israel.

Threats to the Strait of Hormuz

A senior Revolutionary Guards commander warned that Iran is prepared to close the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
General Sardar Jabbari stated that Iran “will burn any ship” attempting to cross the waterway, which handles a significant share of global energy shipments.

Economic consequences

According to Jabbari, Iran could also target regional oil pipelines.
He warned that disrupting exports would push oil prices toward 200 dollars per barrel.
The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the most critical chokepoints for crude oil and gas transport to Asia and global markets.

Iran’s president condemns alleged strikes on civilian sites

President Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran “will not remain silent” in response to the alleged attacks.
He stressed that strikes on hospitals and schools constitute attacks on life and the future of a nation.
Pezeshkian urged the international community to condemn the incidents.

Statements from Iranian leadership

On X he wrote that Iran “will not yield to these crimes” and insisted that Washington and Tel Aviv must be held responsible.
Iran continues to call for an international investigation into the incidents.

Conclusion:

The situation between Iran and the United States continues to escalate as both sides exchange accusations. Regional observers warn that further confrontation could affect global energy supplies and regional stability.
