Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi told his US counterpart Donald Trump on Monday that he was the “only one” who could bring peace to the Middle East.
“I was sure you were the only one, Mr. President, who can end this war… the only one capable of bringing peace to our region,” Sisi said of Trump in a joint appearance as more than two dozen world leaders waited for them to start a Gaza summit.
