Baghdad – Iraqi News Agency (INA)
The Iraqi Meteorological Authority announced today, Wednesday, the weather forecast for the next four days, expecting a drop in temperatures along with clouds and moderate winds.

In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the authority said that “on Thursday, the weather will be clear with some clouds, with maximum temperatures similar to the previous day.” Temperatures are forecasted to range from 36°C in Duhok and Sulaymaniyah to 45°C in Al-Diwaniyah, Maysan, Dhi Qar, and Basra.

The statement added that “Friday’s weather will be clear, with northwesterly winds ranging from light to moderate, strengthening in the central and northern regions up to 30 km/h, causing dust storms. Temperatures will drop by several degrees across the country, with visibility between 6–8 km, reduced to 2–4 km during dusty conditions.”

According to the authority, “Saturday will see clear skies with further decreases in temperatures throughout Iraq, while Sunday’s weather will remain clear, with temperatures stable in the central and northern regions and slightly lower in the south.”
