Washington, D.C.

The U.S. Department of Justice announced on Friday the release of a significant new volume of documents related to the financier Jeffrey Epstein, fulfilling a prior commitment to disclose the full details of the politically sensitive case.

During a press conference, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche stated, “Today, we are releasing more than 3 million pages, including over two thousand videos and more than 180,000 photos.”

Blanche, who previously served as a personal lawyer for former President Donald Trump, denied any White House interference in the publication process. “We have complied with the law and have not protected President Trump or anyone else,” he affirmed.

Blanche added that the department would press charges against any men proven to have been involved in the sexual exploitation of women if new information becomes available, but he stated that such evidence is not expected to be found within the Epstein documents.

A previous announcement by the department and the FBI last July, which concluded there were no grounds for new prosecutions, angered supporters of Trump who view the case as evidence of corruption among political elites.

In response, alleged victims of Jeffrey Epstein issued a statement on Friday, asserting that the new documents reveal the women who were exploited, while “the men who exploited us remain covered up and protected.”

“End of the Process”

Blanche clarified that the government has now published a total of more than 3.5 million pages since December under transparency laws. In a letter addressed to Congress, he added, “The documents released today mark the end of a very thorough process of inventorying and analyzing the records.”

According to the letter, co-signed by Attorney General Pam Bondi and her deputy, the Justice Department has fulfilled its legal obligations with this report to Congress.

The new documents also revealed information concerning prominent figures. This includes a draft email from Epstein discussing extramarital affairs of Microsoft founder Bill Gates, a claim the Gates Foundation has denied, calling it an “absurd accusation.”

The files also highlighted the relationship between Epstein and Prince Andrew, the brother of the King of Britain, who invited Epstein to Buckingham Palace shortly after Epstein completed a period of home confinement for his conviction on charges of exploiting minors.

The new Epstein documents published by the U.S. Department of Justice reveal additional details about the late financier’s extensive network. The latest release included over 3 million pages and thousands of video clips and images, marking a significant step toward the full transparency promised by the previous administration. The department has affirmed its commitment to the law without protecting any political figure, including former President Donald Trump.

The case surrounding the Epstein documents continues to stir controversy, as victims argue the focus remains on the exploited women while the involved men are still protected. The files reveal names of prominent figures like Bill Gates and Prince Andrew, shedding new light on the social circle of Epstein, who was found dead in his jail cell in 2019 before he could be tried on charges of sexually exploiting minors.
