Baghdad Governor, Atwan Al-Atwani, confirmed on Thursday that the local government is continuing to implement infrastructure development projects across the capital. He pointed out that the rehabilitation and paving of the “Habsa Factory” road in Al-Zawraa District will significantly help reduce traffic congestion and facilitate the movement of residents.
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Governorate said that Al-Atwani conducted a field visit to follow up on the progress of the project, stressing that it is one of the vital projects aimed at improving public services in the area.
Al-Atwani added that the works are being carried out according to technical standards and within the set timeframe, under the direct supervision of the Municipal Affairs Department of the Governorate. He further noted that the local government is prioritizing areas that have long suffered from a lack of services, emphasizing that the “Habsa Factory” road will play a major role in easing congestion and providing better services for residents of the district.
