Arab reactions have continued over the recent regional escalation, as the Arab Parliament condemned Iranian attacks that violated Jordanian airspace, while the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers denounced attacks targeting energy vessels in the Strait of Hormuz as well as strikes against Kuwait and Bahrain.

The statements highlighted Arab solidarity with affected countries and called for protecting regional security, respecting international law, and preventing further escalation.

Arab Parliament Condemns Attacks on Jordan

The President of the Arab Parliament, Mohamed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, condemned the Iranian attacks that violated the airspace of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, describing them as a dangerous escalation threatening regional security and stability.

The Arab Parliament reaffirmed its full solidarity with Jordan and its support for the measures taken by the kingdom to protect its national security and sovereignty.

It also called on the international community and the United Nations Security Council to take immediate action to stop such violations and prevent further tensions in the region.

Arab Interior Ministers Council Condemns Attacks on Energy Vessels and Gulf States

In a related development, the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers condemned the targeting of the Qatari liquefied natural gas carrier “Al Rukayyat” and the Saudi crude oil tanker “Wadiyan” while transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

The council also condemned attacks targeting Kuwait and Bahrain, stating that such actions represent violations of international laws and agreements and pose a serious threat to regional and global economic interests as well as international peace and security.

Arab Support for Sovereignty and Regional Stability

The Council of Arab Interior Ministers reaffirmed its solidarity with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain, supporting measures taken by these countries to protect their security, sovereignty, territories, infrastructure, citizens, and residents.

Arab statements emphasized the importance of avoiding further escalation and maintaining international legal frameworks to protect regional stability, maritime security, and energy supplies.

Regional Tensions Raise Concerns Over Security and Energy Routes

The latest Arab condemnations come amid growing regional tensions and concerns over the impact of attacks on Arab countries, maritime and air navigation, as well as global energy and trade routes.

The positions reflect increasing diplomatic efforts to protect regional security and call for an end to actions that threaten stability in the Middle East.

Conclusion:

The positions of the Arab Parliament and the Council of Arab Interior Ministers reflect growing Arab concerns over the regional security situation, while emphasizing support for affected countries and the need to prevent further escalation through respect for sovereignty and international law.
