Iranian airspace will remain closed until 2 pm (1030 GMT) on Wednesday despite a ceasefire taking effect with Israel, Iran’s Mehr news agency reported.

“Following recent developments, the country’s airspace will remain closed until 2 pm on Wednesday to ensure the security of passengers and flights,” Mehr quoted transport ministry spokesman Majid Akhavan as saying late Tuesday.
