Turkey issued a stern warning on Tuesday, stating it would not tolerate any “provocations” related to its military operations in Syria. The statement comes as Kurdish groups have called for protests against the Turkish government’s offensive targeting Kurdish fighters in the region.
Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on the social media platform X that Ankara is “meticulously monitoring the developments in Syria and all movements along our border.”
He emphasized that Turkey “will not tolerate any initiatives or provocations targeting the peace of our country,” reinforcing the government’s position on its cross-border security operations.
