International phone call services have been restored in Iran after being blocked for several days, an AFP correspondent reported on Tuesday. The restoration of communications comes as demonstrations continue in various parts of the country.
The block on international calls had been in effect since Friday, severing a key communication link to the outside world. While phone lines are now operational, internet access remains cut off, according to the web monitoring group Netblocks.
