Top Russian diplomat Sergei Lavrov told US counterpart Marco Rubio on Wednesday that Kyiv and European countries were to blame for prolonging the conflict in Ukraine, Russia’s foreign ministry said.
In a meeting with Rubio on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov “stressed the unacceptability of the schemes promoted by Kyiv and some European capitals aimed at prolonging the conflict,” it said.
