US to cut military presence in Europe: Romania

Romania’s defence ministry said Wednesday that the United States had informed it and its allies that Washington intends to reduce some of its troops deployed on NATO’s eastern flank.

“The decision of the United States is to suspend the rotation in Europe of a brigade that had elements in several countries,” said the ministry statement.
