U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Sunday that potential military action against Iran is under consideration. The statement comes in response to increasing reports of violent suppression of widespread anti-government protests in the country.
When asked by reporters if Iran had crossed his “red line” by killing protesters, Trump responded, “They’re starting to, it looks like.”
Speaking aboard Air Force One, he added, “We’re looking at it very seriously. The military is looking at it, and we’re looking at some very strong options. We’ll make a determination.”
