US President Donald Trump hailed a “very good” phone call with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on Monday, after months of tensions, saying they would meet in both their countries.

“We discussed many things, but it was mostly focused on the Economy, and Trade,” Trump said on his Truth Social network, after Brazil had earlier announced the call.

“We will be having further discussions, and will get together in the not too distant future, both in Brazil and the United States. I enjoyed the call — Our Countries will do very well together!”
