Poland on Wednesday summoned Russia’s top diplomat in the country, Russian state media reported, after Warsaw said it had downed several Russian drones that violated its airspace overnight.
Andrei Ordash, Russia’s temporary charge d’affaires in Poland, told RIA Novosti he had been summoned to the foreign ministry for a meeting at 12:00 pm (1000 GMT), adding that Warsaw was yet to present evidence that the drones shot down overnight had come from Russia.
