The Kremlin said Monday that an upcoming visit to Moscow by US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff would be important and helpful.
“We are always happy to see Mr. Witkoff in Moscow… We consider such contact important, substantial and helpful,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, adding that a meeting with President Vladimir Putin was possible.
