Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Tuesday that a meeting between the Russian and Ukrainian presidents to resolve the conflict must be prepared “very thoroughly”.

“Any contacts involving leaders must be prepared very thoroughly,” Lavrov told Rossiya 24 state TV channel in an interview published after leaders pushed for the idea at a US-led summit in Washington Monday.
