Russia said Friday it had launched a “massive” overnight air attack on Ukrainian energy sites used to supply power to the country’s defence industry.
“The Russian armed forces launched a massive strike overnight… against energy infrastructure supporting the operation of Ukraine’s military-industrial complex,” the Russian defence ministry said in a statement.
