Russia and key ally Belarus on Friday began joint military drills, amid tensions with NATO countries after Poland accused Moscow of firing attack drones through its airspace.
“The joint strategic manouevres of the Russian and Belarusian armies … have started,” Russia’s defence ministry said in a statement.
