US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Wednesday urged Russia to stop its “killing” in Ukraine as he met Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in New York a day after Donald Trump reversed course on the war.
Rubio “reiterated President Trump’s call for the killing to stop and the need for Moscow to take meaningful steps toward a durable resolution of the Russia-Ukraine war,” State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott said.
