Burglars made off with luxury leather handbags worth around one million euros in a dawn robbery in an upscale district of Paris on Sunday, a police source told AFP.
The thieves broke into “Houlux”, a shop specialising in second-hand luxury leather goods at around 05:00 am (0300 GMT) on a street lined with designer shops close to the Tuileries gardens.
They got away with more than 100 bags from luxury brands including Chanel, Hermes, Dior and Luis Vuitton.
They gained access to the shop by climbing to a balcony on the fourth floor of the building, said the police source.
