The director of the Nobel institute said on Wednesday he was not aware where Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado was after it was announced she would not attend the award of her Nobel Peace Prize.
“I simply do not know where she is exactly,” Kristian Berg Harpviken told NRK radio ahead of the ceremony scheduled to start at 1:00 pm (1200 GMT) at Oslo’s City Hall.
