Meteorology: Gradual Drop in Temperatures Over the Next Four Days

The Iraqi Meteorological Authority announced on Monday the country’s weather forecast for the next four days, predicting a gradual decrease in temperatures accompanied by moderate winds.

According to the authority’s statement, Tuesday’s weather will be clear, with temperatures similar to the previous day across Iraq. The expected high temperatures are as follows: Sulaymaniyah and Duhok 38°C, Erbil 40°C, Nineveh and Anbar 41°C, Kirkuk 42°C, Salah al-Din 43°C, Baghdad and Diyala 44°C, Karbala, Babil, and Wasit 45°C, Najaf, Diwaniyah, Muthanna, and Dhi Qar 46°C, while Maysan and Basra will reach 47°C.

The authority added that Wednesday and Thursday will also bring clear weather, with temperatures remaining close to previous levels throughout the country.

On Friday, the weather will remain generally clear, with some scattered clouds in parts of the southern region, while temperatures are expected to decline slightly.
