An Ankara court adjourned a key hearing on Monday into alleged vote buying that could upend the leadership of Turkey’s main opposition CHP party, an AFP correspondent at the hearing said.

After more than an hour of debate, the case was adjourned until October 24, the judge said of the hearing, which could have a considerable impact not only on the party but on Turkish democracy.
