The Kremlin said Friday that “many” questions needed resolving before Russian President Vladimir Putin and US counterpart Donald Trump could meet, including who would be on each negotiating team.
“Foreign Minister (Sergei) Lavrov and Secretary of State (Marco) Rubio will begin working on this. There are many questions, negotiating teams need to be determined, and so on,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
“It could indeed take place within two weeks or a little later. There’s an understanding that nothing should be put off,” he added.
