The Iraqi Meteorological Authority announced today, Thursday, the weather forecast for the coming days, indicating that temperatures are expected to rise starting next week.
In its statement, the authority noted that Friday’s weather will be clear with temperatures similar to the previous day. The maximum temperatures will be as follows: Sulaymaniyah and Duhok 38°C, Erbil 40°C, Nineveh 41°C, Kirkuk, Anbar, and Salah al-Din 42°C, Baghdad, Diyala, and Karbala 44°C, Babil, Najaf, and Wasit 45°C, Diwaniyah, Maysan, and Muthanna 46°C, and Dhi Qar and Basra 47°C.
The statement added that Saturday and Sunday will see clear skies with stable temperatures, while on Monday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly across the country.
