The Iraqi Meteorological Authority announced on Friday the country’s weather forecast for the coming days, indicating clear skies with relatively stable temperatures.
According to a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “On Saturday, the weather will be clear with some scattered clouds, while temperatures will remain close to those of the previous day.”
The forecast for Saturday’s high temperatures across Iraq is as follows:
Sulaymaniyah & Duhok: 33°C
Erbil: 35°C
Nineveh, Kirkuk & Anbar: 37°C
Salah al-Din: 38°C
Baghdad, Karbala, Diyala, Babil, Wasit & Muthanna: 39°C
Diwaniyah, Najaf, Dhi Qar, Maysan & Basra: 40°C
The statement added that “Sunday’s weather will remain clear with some clouds and similar temperatures,” noting that “Monday will see slightly higher temperatures under the same clear conditions.”
As for Tuesday, the authority expects “clear skies with some clouds, and overall stable temperatures.”
