The Government Media Team confirmed on Friday its commitment to utilizing all media and digital platforms to support Iraq’s National Day celebrations and highlight their symbolic significance.
Spokesperson Haider Majid told INA that “government media is working to produce reports, documentaries, and interactive messages that shed light on the unity and cohesion of Iraqis, while also showcasing the important role state institutions play in supporting national occasions.”
He added that, “based on Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani’s directive regarding the celebration of Iraq’s National Day, the Government Media Team has instructed all ministries, authorities, and governorates to organize events in a way that reflects the importance of this national occasion.”
Majid emphasized that “celebrating national occasions helps reinforce the values of belonging and Iraqi identity, strengthens national unity, and raises awareness among future generations about the significance of these events, while honoring the sacrifices and achievements that shaped Iraq’s present and future.”
He concluded by stating that “national media is a key partner in transforming such occasions into opportunities to promote unity, spread optimism, and strengthen confidence in the path of progress and development led by our country.”
