Gaza’s civil defence agency on Thursday said that at least 52 people, including eight children, were killed by Israeli forces in the war-battered Palestinian territory, updating a previous toll.
Civil defence official Mohammad al-Mughair told AFP that 17 people were killed, including eight children and two women, in an Israeli air strike in front of a medical point in Deir el-Balah in central Gaza. AFP has contacted the Israeli military for comment on the civil defence reports.
