The Federal Public Service Council announced on Saturday the timeline for sending codes to applicants for government jobs, confirming that the process will take place next week.
In a statement reported by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the council explained that it has formed a support team to correct the data of new applicants and those who appealed the results of the job-intersection checks, after universities closed their application centers and several applicants submitted incorrect information.
The council added that among the published error lists were cases where applicants had entered an incorrect national ID number despite having the rest of their information correct. Such applicants will still be allowed to complete their applications, as they had already started the process within the deadline. However, the application period will not be extended.
According to the statement, all applicants’ data has been sent to the Federal Board of Supreme Audit, which has already provided feedback on 21,000 applicants, while results for the remaining names are still pending.
The council confirmed that the codes will be sent to applicants next week, noting that these are the final procedures related to the third batch of appointments.
