Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Kim Jong Un for talks on Thursday, state media reported as the North Korean leader was in Beijing on a rare foreign visit.
Xi “held talks at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing with Kim Jong Un… who came to China to attend the commemorations of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War”, state broadcaster CCTV reported.
