Brazilian football star Neymar has renewed his contract with Santos FC, committing to the club until the end of the year, the team announced on Tuesday.
In a statement released by Santos—the club where Neymar’s illustrious career began—the 33-year-old expressed his deep connection to the team: “I’ve made my decision by listening to my heart. Santos isn’t just my club; it’s my home, my roots, my history, and my life.”
Neymar rejoined Santos in January after a stint with Saudi club Al Hilal. Over the course of his career, he has also played for European giants Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
