Uruguayan forward Martin Satriano has joined Spanish side Getafe on a permanent deal worth six million euros, arriving from French club Lyon after a loan spell that began in January.

Satriano, 25, moved to Lyon from Lens in the summer of 2025 in a deal that initially started as a loan before being made permanent in January 2026 for five million euros.

Shortly after completing his permanent move, he was immediately loaned out to Getafe.

Initially brought in as a secondary striker, Satriano often found himself playing a more prominent role in Lyon’s attack due to a lack of higher-level options. He made 19 appearances across all competitions, scoring three goals.

However, in January, Lyon secured the loan signing of Brazilian international Endrick from Real Madrid.

Satriano went on to make 10 appearances for Getafe in La Liga, scoring three goals.

The deal could rise by an additional 200,000 euros in bonuses, according to the French club.
