The Gaza governance committee, tasked with administering the territory after the current war, held its first meeting in Cairo on Friday, according to the Egyptian state-linked Al-Qahera News channel.
The committee was established on Wednesday as part of the second phase of a US-brokered ceasefire agreement.
Comprising 15 technocrats, the body is responsible for managing the Gaza Strip following the cessation of the Israeli war on the territory.
