UK police on Monday launched a criminal investigation into performances by rap groups Kneecap and Bob Vylan at the Glastonbury festival following anti-Israel chants led by the groups.

After reviewing “video footage and audio… we have decided further inquiries are required and a criminal investigation is now being undertaken,” police in southwest England said after Bob Vylan led chants of “Death to the IDF” — the Israeli army — at the music festival.
