Sixth-ranked American Jessica Pegula stunned reigning champion and world number one Aryna Sabalenka in a three-set thriller in the Wuhan Open semi-finals on Saturday.
Pegula fought back to win 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7/2) and will face compatriot Coco Gauff in Sunday’s title decider.
