The Israeli military announced it struck a high-rise building in Gaza City on Friday that it said was being used by Hamas, as the army gears up to conquer the urban centre.<\/p>\n
“A short while ago, the (Israeli military) struck a high-rise building that was being used by the Hamas terrorist organisation in the area of Gaza City,” a statement said, adding that “Hamas established infrastructure that was used to advance and execute attacks against (Israeli) troops in the area”.<\/p>\n
