Higher security readiness and combat preparedness for Iraqi forces were ordered on Thursday by Iraq\u2019s commander-in-chief and Prime Minister Ali Falah Al-Zeidi, in a move aimed at strengthening the ability of security and military formations to carry out their duties and protect stability across the country.<\/p>\n
The Security Media Cell said the directive includes training exercises and the movement of units as part of maintaining a high level of preparedness.<\/p>\n
In a statement, the Security Media Cell said the commander-in-chief had instructed all security and military forces to raise their security readiness and combat preparedness.<\/p>\n
The statement added that the decision is part of a continuous effort to ensure the sustained readiness of all security formations and enhance their ability to perform assigned duties.<\/p>\n
