The President of the Arab Parliament, Mohamed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, condemned the Iranian attacks that violated the airspace of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, describing them as a dangerous escalation threatening regional security and stability.<\/p>\n
The Arab Parliament reaffirmed its full solidarity with Jordan and its support for the measures taken by the kingdom to protect its national security and sovereignty.<\/p>\n
It also called on the international community and the United Nations Security Council to take immediate action to stop such violations and prevent further tensions in the region.<\/p>\n
In a related development, the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers condemned the targeting of the Qatari liquefied natural gas carrier \u201cAl Rukayyat\u201d and the Saudi crude oil tanker \u201cWadiyan\u201d while transiting the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n
The council also condemned attacks targeting Kuwait and Bahrain, stating that such actions represent violations of international laws and agreements and pose a serious threat to regional and global economic interests as well as international peace and security.<\/p>\n
The Council of Arab Interior Ministers reaffirmed its solidarity with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain, supporting measures taken by these countries to protect their security, sovereignty, territories, infrastructure, citizens, and residents.<\/p>\n
Arab statements emphasized the importance of avoiding further escalation and maintaining international legal frameworks to protect regional stability, maritime security, and energy supplies.<\/p>\n
