At the same time, the Lebanese army confirmed the death of a soldier who succumbed to injuries sustained in an Israeli strike in southern Lebanon, highlighting the fragile security situation despite ceasefire declarations.<\/p>\n
In a statement carried by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Hezbollah said that \u201cthe Israeli occupation\u2019s claims that we are violating the ceasefire are a blatant and false attempt to sabotage the agreement between Iran and the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n
The group added that Israeli forces committed \u201c300 documented violations and attacks\u201d since Friday morning, stressing that these actions \u201care not merely breaches of the ceasefire but constitute aggression and a continuation of the war.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hezbollah affirmed that \u201cLebanon and its resistance have the right to defend themselves against Israeli attacks,\u201d adding that no party has the right to deny that.<\/p>\n
In a separate statement, Hezbollah reiterated its commitment to the ceasefire while warning it would respond to any attempts by Israel to expand its control.<\/p>\n
The group said it had adhered to the ceasefire since Friday evening \u201ceven after Israeli violations from the first moments,\u201d but kept \u201cits hand on the trigger\u201d due to what it described as repeated Israeli breaches.<\/p>\n
Hezbollah stated that Israeli forces attempted to infiltrate the Ali al-Taher hill area in southern Lebanon. According to the statement, fighters confronted the infiltrating unit using \u201cappropriate weapons,\u201d causing \u201cconfirmed casualties and injuries\u201d among Israeli forces.<\/p>\n
The group also accused Israel of carrying out \u201cintensive airstrikes inside and outside the operational zone,\u201d claiming civilians were targeted \u201cto cover up military failure.\u201d<\/p>\n
Separately, the Lebanese army announced that one of its soldiers died from injuries sustained in an Israeli airstrike targeting the southern town of Touline.<\/p>\n
According to an official statement, the soldier had been seriously wounded and transferred to hospital before succumbing to his injuries.<\/p>\n
The incident is part of a broader pattern of ongoing strikes and clashes in southern Lebanon, despite efforts to maintain a ceasefire.<\/p>\n
The situation along the Lebanon-Israel border remains tense, with continued airstrikes, ground movements, and exchanges of fire reported in recent days.<\/p>\n
