The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said Wednesday that it did not launch any missile at the passenger terminal of Kuwait International Airport, rejecting accusations that it was responsible for the reported damage.<\/p>\n
In a statement carried by the Iraqi News Agency, the IRGC said its internal investigations confirmed that its forces did not fire any missile at the airport\u2019s passenger hall.<\/p>\n
According to the IRGC statement, the destruction of the terminal building at Kuwait Airport was the result of what it described as a malfunction in US Patriot missile defense systems.<\/p>\n
The statement emphasized that Iranian forces did not target civilian airport facilities, amid heightened tensions in the Gulf region following recent missile exchanges.<\/p>\n

In a statement, the headquarters said it would not allow what it described as enemies to carry out their plans or undermine the sacrifices of those it referred to as martyrs.<\/p>\n
The statement also asserted that Iran\u2019s people would continue to support what it called resistance and the defense of national rights.<\/p>\n
