Administrative undersecretary Iktaf Al\u2011Hasnawi told the Iraqi News Agency that Iraq is still committed to achieving its 2028 target for clearing landmines and war remnants.

Al\u2011Hasnawi noted that the United States has suspended its international support for Iraq\u2019s demining program which has slowed progress and increased the burden on local authorities.
