Premier League<\/strong> leaders Arsenal were handed a significant boost as Manchester City dropped crucial points in a 2-2 draw away to Tottenham on Sunday. Meanwhile, Manchester United secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over Fulham to climb into the top four.<\/p>\n

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City appeared in control at halftime with a 2-0 lead, courtesy of goals from Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo. However, a second-half resurgence from Tottenham, led by Dominic Solanke, changed the course of the match.<\/p>\n

Solanke first reduced the deficit before scoring a remarkable scorpion kick equaliser to level the score. His first goal stood after a VAR review for a potential foul on City defender Marc Guehi. The result leaves second-placed City six points behind Arsenal, having won just one of their last six league matches.<\/p>\n

Despite the setback, Guardiola insisted his team will continue its title defense. “With 14 games to play? As much the chance is there, the hopes will always be there,” he stated.<\/p>\n

At Old Trafford, Manchester United claimed their third consecutive win under manager Michael Carrick. Goals from Casemiro and Matheus Cunha gave United what seemed a comfortable lead before Fulham mounted a late comeback with a penalty from Raul Jimenez and a strike from Kevin. However, Benjamin Sesko scored a late winner for United. “It’s the best feeling I have to say,” said Carrick of the dramatic finish.<\/p>\n

In other Premier League action, third-placed Aston Villa’s title aspirations faded after a 1-0 home defeat to a 10-man Brentford. Dango Ouattara scored the only goal just before halftime.<\/p>\n

Crystal Palace also drew 1-1 at Nottingham Forest. After Morgan Gibbs-White gave Forest an early lead, Ismaila Sarr equalised from the penalty spot following a red card for Neco Williams for a deliberate handball on the goal-line.<\/p>\n

The Premier League<\/strong> title race took another turn as Manchester City were held to a 2-2 draw by Tottenham. Despite leading 2-0, City could not hold on, leaving them six points adrift of leaders Arsenal. The draw highlights a difficult run of form for Pep Guardiola’s side, who have now won just one of their last six league fixtures.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the Premier League<\/strong>, Manchester United continued their resurgence with a dramatic 3-2 win against Fulham, moving them into the top four.
