Iran’s parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, on Monday labeled the state’s response to the widespread protest movement a “war against terrorists” while addressing a pro-government rally in Tehran.<\/p>\n
Ghalibaf detailed what he described as a “four-front war” facing Iran, listing economic and psychological warfare, a “military war” involving the United States and Israel, and the current “war against terrorists.”<\/p>\n
“The great Iranian nation has never allowed the enemy to achieve its goals,” Ghalibaf stated, flanked by banners displaying slogans such as “Death to Israel, Death to America.”<\/p>\n
