Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam published on Friday a long-awaited banking draft bill, which would distribute losses from the 2019 financial crisis between banks and the state.<\/p>\n
In a televised speech, Salam said “this draft law constitutes a roadmap to getting out of the crisis” that still grips Lebanon.<\/p>\n
The bill is one of the reforms demanded by the international community before Beirut can receive financial support.<\/p>\n
